About Us

Auplata Mining Group, listed on the Paris Stock Exchange (Euronext Growth) since December 2006, is a polymetallic mining exploration and exploitation group. Auplata is currently present in French Guiana and, through its subsidiaries, in Peru, Morocco (listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange) and the Ivory Coast.

AMG pursues a dynamic, sustainable and innovative industrial and financial strategy for the development of high-potential precious and base metal deposits with the involvement of local stakeholders. The company's objective is to produce the metals of tomorrow needed for the energy transition in a clean and responsible way, while trying to provide France with a national source of supplies of strategic metals.

Chairman of the Board of Directors

He has more than 20 years of experience in terms of companies’ management; he is an expert in mergers, acquisitions and strategic management. He has bought, managed and sold 17 companies. As a world citizen, he has lived and worked in 11 countries across the globe. He speaks 5 languages. He is the head of Auplata Mining Group. Luc GERARD NYAFE has also the title of Itinerant Ambassador of Democratic Republic of Congo.

Luc GERARD NYAFÉ

Mining engineer graduated from the Colorado School of Mines. 32 years of experience in the mining industry as an engineer, project manager, managing director, and administrator in various companies, in precious, base and diamond- bearing metal projects in Asia, Latin America and Southern Africa.

Miguel de POMBO

Over the past 15 years, Mr. de Pombo has worked in the financial sector, mainly in the areas of financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He worked for 4 years as an investment head for the Andean region at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Jose María was President of BBVA Horizonte in Colombia and Managing Director of BBVA Horizonte in Peru. He was also Managing Director of Consolidar Salud in Argentina and worked for J Walter Tompson and Grupo Galicia in that country.

Catholique de Louvain, Paul Emmanuel a un
long parcours dans le secteur minier aussi bien
en tant qu’investisseur que de dirigeant. Il a
entre autre été Président Directeur Générale
de KILOMOTO en RDC, de Mindev et Associes
(Mines d’Or en RDC et au Mexique). Il est
membre du conseil d administration d’AUPLATA
depuis 2005. Il est également administrateur
délégué des Bijouteries WOLFERS, d’URBANECO
et La FRESNAYE.

Juan Carlos RODRÍGUEZ

Graduated in Applied Sciences from Catholic University of Louvain, Paul Emmanuel has a long career in the mining sector as an investor and leader. He has been a Chairman and CEO of KILOMOTO in DRC and Mindev and Associes (Gold Mines in the DRC and Mexico), a member of AUPLATA Board of Directors since 2005. He is also a Managing Director of the WOLFERS, URBANECO and La FRESNAYE Jewelers.

travaillé pendant 4 ans en tant que responsable

As a geologist, he has a real passion for mine exploration; he has worked in more than 15 countries. In Moku-Beverendi (RDC), he has discovered a mine containing potentially 3 million of ounces. As a project supervisor, he has reconditioned BGPP production, which went from a deficit to profitable company.

Tetsuzo MIYAKE

Is an executive with 22 years of professional experience in the mining industry, educated at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos - Peru, with specialization in senior management and strategic mining management; he has experience in mining operations management as well as in planning, he has held management positions in Peru and abroad in world-class groups such as Nyrstar, Korea Zinc, Volcan Compañía Minera SAA, Glencore Group, Sociedad Minera Austria Duvaz SAC and Vedanta Resources.

Etienne PATRIS

Guillaume LECLERC

Mining engineer. In 40 years he encountered gold, copper and other metals and materials. He has worked in projects and operations of a few thousand or several million tons per year. This experience contributes to the enthusiasm and creativity but also the determination and thoroughness of the entire AMG-Guyana project team.

Cédric has been an auditor since 2010. He has more than 18 years of experience in financial auditing with international (IFRS) and national listed companies. Cédric has acquired extensive experience in both auditing accounts and legal missions and corporate reorganizations. He also has experience in consolidation and valuation.

Cedric MATTART

He has worked in sectors as diverse as retail, the diamond industry, SME financing, retail banking and consultancy. He holds a master's degree in Finance from ISC Paris and an MBA in International Business from EURUNI Geneva.
